Frozen Food Vibratory Feeder Automation

We’ve helped out in the Frozen Food industry after process modifications were required on an existing line that measured and packaged peas, carrots and other items of frozen food.

 

The customer had installed a brand new Vibro (Vibratory) Feeder into the system to expand the lines throughput, and we we’re asked to lend a hand with the PLC and HMI Software modification needed to get the new Vibro Feeder up and running.

 

All controls were carried out on an Allen Bradley SLC 5/05 PLC and Allen Bradley PanelView HMI with the appropriate software packages, Rockwell Software RS Logix500 and PanelBuiler HMI software.

 

Again this was a quick project for us and the line was vibrating away nicely, in no time at all. In fact you could say that the software went hand in hand with the system just like peas and carrots…..my apologies for using such an obvious the pun!
