Allen-Bradley Guardmaster Video Tutorial

Here’s a short tutorial video we’ve made showing how to use the Allen-Bradley Guardmaster Prosafe Trapped Key Interlocks System. We recently installed this into one of our Control Systems for an Automated Spray Painting Line and the trapped key system was used to allow controlled safety access to 4 x ABB Robot Spray Paint Booths. The ABB Robots used were ABB IRB 5400 for the spray painting of parts and ABB IRB 580 for the de-bur (blow off) robot.
 

 
The electrical safety interlock was carried out using Pilz PNOZ S3 and Pilz PNOZ S11 Safety Relays, which can be seen in the tutorial.
